Its 9 days away from the wedding, nerves are getting better of me, had some sleepless nights, silly thoughts of what might screw up and… the constant question shot at Kevin “Am I a fat bride?” Am trying my very best to not to think about all the horrible things that can go wrong, but its really hard, especially after me messing up my own hen’s night.. which brings me to what moves me to write this post… forgive and forget…
It’s sometimes easy to forget how important friends are until you realised you can lose them overnight, and believe me, it can be very scary. Pissed off my bunch of gal pals when i got drunk on my hens night, correction… got drunk before my hens night even started! Yes, ironic eh.. me.. knocking off and checking out at 10pm. Well.. i guess shit happens. Naturally the gals were mad, who wouldnt be, i was all bratty and annoying and all the effort and time wasted on planning it went down the drain. I slept it off woke up with a nasty hangover and started sms-ing to appologize and most didnt reply, thats when it hit me, i screwed up so bad that i might lose their friendships. Alls back to normal now.. but after tons of sms, calls begging for forgiveness, i understand they wanted me to know i cant take their friendship for granted. Pheww.. wat a relieve.
Then, I also remembered and read on a someones blog, a someone who used to be a best friend, who hurt me so much that i decided to cut him off… and who has been ’subtly’ trying to make it up. And ive decided… yes, its time to forgive and forget.
And.. it felt real good.
